Overview
Prompt engineering is the practice of developing and refining prompts to generate best possible outputs from generative AI systems. In this programme, students will learn the ways to craft precise and effective prompts, the use of generative AI systems in problem solving and decision making, as well as AI ethics and responsible use of AI.
Programme Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this programme, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate mastery of skills and techniques for crafting precise and effective prompts for generative AI systems.
- Apply generative AI systems in problem solving and decision making.
- Critically evaluate issues in AI ethics and responsible use of AI.
Entry Requirements
- A Bachelor degree (EQF level 6) or equivalent in any discipline; or
- Membership of a recognised professional body.
Programme Rules
- Students must successfully complete an optional online assessment to be eligible to a Certificate of Proficiency jointly issued by Trinity College Zurich and Institute of Certified Management Accountants, Australia and New Zealand (ICMA).
- Students who haven’t completed the online assessment are eligible to a Certificate of Participation.
